Just made this card for a very special person -  Teal and white with Micro beads

Workshop

These are the results of a Workshop with the talented Eileen Godwin.
I must try some more and I might get better.  It is so nice to learn new techniques. I just hope that I get better.

Distress Inks:

This one is an embossing folder painted with distress inks.

This box was made with the new Spellbinder flower dies and Sue Wilson's soft gold paper and Papermill cream paper.

Lovely intricate dies, and something a little different.  These are from the Oriental collection.

Very Quick and Easy

Had this Glitter Frosting Paste for months - just got round to using it with the Glitzcraft Stencils.  So quick easy, very simple, but effective.

This is certainly a method to use if you are in a hurry. Not a Harrods card maybe a Tesco 'value for money'  x

Variatons on a theme

Do other people do this?  I quite liked the small card so just varied the flowers the sentiment and the colours.

This one on many crackers that I made for last Christmas.  So simple, A4 template, Centura Pearl paper and Spellbinders Poinsettia flowers.  A lot cheaper than the pick of the day on C&C.  and 'normal' size.

Little Flowers

Just been messing about with a small rose die and came up with these flowers.  They make an easy simple card together with the Stamping Up embossing folder and Tattered Lace sentiments.

Thanks for looking - now it has got cooler, I will be doing more crafting.

Wedding Cards

Just finished two cards for a wedding day.  I think that the boxes that they are in  took longer to make than the cards did.

Cream, Ivory and white

This card looks much nicer in the flesh than it does in the photograph.  I have used Cream, Ivory and white Papermill Direct Card with spellbinders, Cheery Lynn and Tattered Lace dies. (what a mixture!)

It is an 8" x 8", so for me larger than usual, but it is for someone special.

Blue Poppies

Just a variation on the colour.

Computer problems

Seem to be having problems with my computer, or maybe its the heat getting to me - not good either way.  Here is my latest effort.  Got this Sweet Poppy Stencil at the Doncaster Show.

The detail in the stencils are really good, got a couple of others to have a go at.

Nasty little Virus

Back after a few days away

Just got back from a few days away, New die arrived while we were away and could not wait to play.

I think that they would make lovely gift boxes or favours for weddings, I am going to try to make a Christmas edition.  What do you think?

Just Trying a Different Colour

Again this is Papermill Direct Paper - great stuff - so easy to work with.
Got into a bit of a mess colouring the ribbon there must be an easy way to do it.

Spellbinder dies and Sizzex flowers, they are lovely but so tiny, I think I need to invest in a new pair of specs.  Thank you for passing by.  I would love a comment and some more followers xx

Busy, Busy.

Been doing a few demonstrations and gardening, crafting has been neglected but just finished this for a bird lover (only the feathered kind!!)

I have some more beautiful flowers to put on. Maybe tomorrow if the paper show at Doncaster and the Grand Prix doesn't get in the way.  Thanks for passing by.

Morning - torn now between gardening and crafting, I really don't like to be inside when the sun is shinning. Here is something that I do with my other bits of spare time.  I take photographs of flowers and frame them.  I took this photo yesterday, not got around to the framing bit yet, maybe when it rains.  We have so many framed flowers in our house that I'm thinking of getting a market stall or doing a craft fair sometime.

Who said weeds are not beautiful?  Thanks for looking. Hope the sun is shinning where you are.

Plain white Paper

I am quite pleased with the way these have turned out, plain white paper and a first try.  I have got lots more to have a go at.

 

The small white roses are about the size of a 5p piece.  I'll have another go tomorrow - got more dies to try out xx

Silver Paste and Mica Beads

The photo doesn't really show the colour of the flower, it looks quite grey, but it is a velvety silver.  I have used sweet poppy stencils, silver paste and mica beads on cream card.

Not by choice

Didn't find it so easy to make a card using dies etc specified by other people.  I tend to use the dies and paper that I really like.

It would be interesting to see if other people could tell the difference - only colourwise as the dies and design are both the same.

Flower Challenge

Spent the morning trying to get to grips with 'thornless' roses.  This is the result.

It has been a long while

Haven't done a lot of crafting this week , had to get back to-day otherwise I get withdrawal symtoms.  (Hope I've spelt that right).  For this one I have used the Spellbinder dies; detailed scallops and Grand Large Labels, flowers are Cheery Lynn.

 

 

Detailed scallops is such a pretty die but it does need wax paper.  I would love a comment - good or other wise. Thank you

Cream and Cream

It's raining again - no gardening - no sun to show up the dust! what do I do???

Do you think that this is too plain? personally I like the texture of the paper but I would love another opinion.

To-day effort

Dog walked - weeds pulled up.  Oh I must get something ready for supper!!

I used to stamp and colour all the time - now die cutting has taken over.

Just tried the same stencil with another colour - it looks totally differnt.
